The Baki series, created by Keisuke Itagaki, has become a cultural phenomenon. Meet Keisuke Itagaki



Keisuke Itagaki, born on April 4, 1957, in Hokkaido, is the prestigious creator of the Baki series. After serving in the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force and honing his skills in amateur boxing, Itagaki ventured into the world of manga. His career took off with "Grappler Baki" which launched in 1991, followed by a plethora of sequels, each continuing to explore the depth of the Baki universe. Apart from Baki, Itagaki is also known for other works, including "Garouden" based on the stories of Baku Yumemakura.
