The Cocoon Actors Studio (CAS), under the auspices of Bunkamura, announces the commencement of its 3rd term in April 2024, with Ryo Horikoshi stepping in as a new constant instructor. Announcement of the 3rd Term Public Performance

Additionally, the public performance for the 3rd term students will be staged in December 2026. This performance will feature a new musical titled "Ensemble Days - They Have Names Too," penned by the illustrious Suzuki Matsuo. The dynamic duo of Matsuo, known for his sardonic humor and unique storytelling, alongside Horikoshi’s visionary directorial style, promises a compelling narrative brimming with life.

About Ryo Horikoshi

Ryo Horikoshi, a graduate of Aoyama Gakuin University, began his career as an actor within the Neo-Kabuki group Hanagumi Shibai and later transitioned into directing with his theatrical unit, Ayame Juhachiban. His extensive portfolio includes plays across various genres, showcasing his ability to balance modern interpretations with the classical nuances of Japanese drama. He teaches acting methods at Showa Musical University and continues to influence aspiring actors across various platforms.
