AFRIKA ROSE's Innovative Corporate Welfare Service
In an exciting move to enhance corporate welfare,
AFRIKA ROSE, managed by
Asante, has launched a new service named
'ROSE FOR GOOD'. This initiative allows companies to express gratitude and celebrate special occasions with unique one-stem gift boxes. Through this service,
AFRIKA ROSE aims to improve internal communication while also promoting environmental and social responsibility.
About 'ROSE FOR GOOD'
The 'ROSE FOR GOOD' service is designed to be a heartfelt gift from companies to employees. On the dedicated website, the aim is to foster connections among individuals, spark new ideas, and inspire change through little steps that contribute positively to society. The service includes an option to attach a personalized message card featuring encouraging phrases like 'THANK YOU', 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY', 'CONGRATULATION', or 'FOR YOU'. Notably, the reverse side of the card serves as a planting certificate for a tree, making the act of giving not only thoughtful but also environmentally conscious.
How Giving Connects to Environmental Responsibility
Each rose delivered through 'ROSE FOR GOOD' carries a planting cost equivalent to 0.1 of a tree. Moreover,
AFRIKA ROSE is committed to calculating the CO2 emissions generated during rose production and transport. To offset its carbon footprint, the company donates monthly to an organization performing reforestation activities in Kenya. An additional option allows customers to contribute 5 yen per rose towards carbon offset efforts.
The Development Journey
As companies increasingly recognize the importance of employee engagement and sustainability,
AFRIKA ROSE has leveraged its previous experience in directly importing fair-trade roses from Kenya. The intention is to create frequent opportunities for expressing appreciation, blessings, and acknowledgment within the corporate culture, leading to the birth of 'ROSE FOR GOOD'.
Collaboration with
Terra, located in Kamakura, Kanagawa, was vital for developing a streamlined system that serves both organizations and users effectively. With over 30 years of experience in telecommunications,
Terra has brought valuable insights into creating a user-friendly structure that supports the service.
Future Outlook
Looking ahead,
Asante is determined to continue expanding its service to better connect individuals through the gift of flowers while seamlessly integrating social and environmental considerations into corporate activities. Collaboration with
Terra is expected to evolve the system further, ensuring it remains user-friendly and sustainable for both companies and employees.
Terra continues to offer corporate solutions and digital transformation support on its platform.
