Introducing the New Celebration Handkerchiefs
Classics the Small Luxury, a pioneer in the Japanese handkerchief industry, located in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, has launched a new collection of their delightful 'Celebration Handkerchiefs'. Founded by the long-established Blooming Nakanishi Co., Ltd., this specialty store is dedicated to providing elegant and playful handkerchief designs that convey heartfelt congratulations for life's milestones such as new jobs, weddings, and openings.
The latest additions to the 'Celebration Handkerchief' series are designed to embody the spirit of celebration with humor and charm. Two new designs are available: one features the whimsical 'tai' motif, a symbol of good fortune, while the other showcases a trophy that honors achievements and efforts. Each handkerchief is crafted to be a special piece that can be chosen according to the recipient and the occasion of celebration.
Life is filled with joyful moments worth celebrating, and these handkerchiefs serve as the perfect gift to gently offer your congratulations.
About the New Designs
Each handkerchief in this new series retails for ¥2,750 (including tax) and measures 41cm x 41cm.
1. 'Tai' Handkerchief
This design plays on the word 'tai' which represents happiness and is often seen as a motif for celebrations. With a humorous expression, the 'tai' handkerchief is not only visually striking but also carries an auspicious touch, making it a fitting gift for occasions like weddings and childbirth. You can personalize it with a large initial embroidery for ¥660, turning it into a unique keepsake. This handkerchief is versatile, ideal for congratulatory gifts for promotions, graduations, and victories. An original Paulownia wood box is available for a luxurious presentation.
2. Trophy Handkerchief
The trophy design is intricately embroidered to reflect the golden sheen of achievement. The edges are sewn using two vibrant threads – orange symbolizing the joy of victory and clean white for freshness – creating a festive appeal. Ideal for awards and competitions, this handkerchief can be paired with the 'Hole-in-One' handkerchief from the HOBBY series, making for an elegant gift for a golf competition or a celebration of achievements. Initial embroidery can be added to the base of the trophy for an extra personal touch.
3. Flower Ring Handkerchief
Particularly well-received since its launch last year, the flower ring design combines auspicious motifs such as Mount Fuji, cranes, and pines with roses and diamonds, resulting in a brand-original flower ring. Completed with a red and white color scheme on the borders, it’s perfect for celebrations like store openings, business launches, or anniversaries. The handkerchief is available for ¥2,750, and you can also add initial embroidery for an additional ¥550. Custom number embroideries are available for milestone celebrations, such as adding '60' for a 60th birthday.
