BRP Welcomes Denis Le Vot as the New President and CEO

BRP Inc., a prominent name in the powersports industry, has recently announced a significant leadership transition. Denis Le Vot is set to take on the role of President and Chief Executive Officer starting February 1, 2026. This appointment comes as current CEO José Boisjoli plans his retirement after an illustrious career at BRP that spans over three decades, including 22 years at the helm of the company.

In a statement regarding Le Vot's appointment, Barbara Samardzich, the Lead Independent Director, warmly welcomed him and emphasized the value of his extensive experience in the automotive industry. Le Vot brings with him a robust 30-year career, having held numerous critical positions across different countries, notably within Renault. His proven expertise in brand development, customer experience, and managing global dealership networks will be an asset to BRP in its ambition to enhance the execution of its strategic plan, M28, and foster long-term growth in the competitive sports motors industry.

"I am grateful for the trust the board has placed in me, and I am eager to embark on this new adventure and lead BRP as it enters a new chapter in its history," commented Le Vot. His vision aligns with BRP's established reputation for technological expertise, bold design, and market-defining products. He expressed eagerness to collaborate with talented teams to enhance customer and dealer experiences while cementing the company's position as a leader in the powersports industry.

Boisjoli, in his farewell message, reflected on the remarkable transformation BRP underwent during his tenure—from a private entity to a publicly-owned industry leader. He praised the company’s growth trajectory and expressed confidence in Le Vot's capabilities to continue this momentum.

Le Vot's background is rich with accomplishments, including leadership roles in significant regions such as Eurasia and North America for Renault and Nissan before joining BRP. He has played a vital role in international growth strategies and brand positioning, experiences that are expected to contribute greatly to BRP's future.

Additionally, the board announced that Pierre Beaudoin will succeed Boisjoli as the Chairperson of the board effective February 1, 2026. Beaudoin's extensive experience in the marine products division of Bombardier and previous leadership at the firm positions him well to guide BRP’s strategic direction during this transition.

As BRP prepares for this leadership change, industry experts are optimistic about the potential innovations and strategic advancements that Le Vot and his team will implement. With about 16,500 employees worldwide and an annual revenue topping CA$7.8 billion, BRP stands poised for continued success.

In conclusion, Denis Le Vot takes the reins at a pivotal moment for BRP, with plans to leverage his extensive experience and the existing strategic foundation laid by Boisjoli. Both executives have voiced confidence that this transition will bolster BRP’s growth as a top original equipment manufacturer (OEM) in the global powersports sector, promising an exciting future for the company.
