From June 1 to June 30, 2026, the renowned restaurant Hagoromo, located within the historical Meiji Kinenkan in Tokyo, will showcase two limited-time offerings inspired by the essence of early summer: the "Hanashobu Gozen" and "Hanashobu Kaiseki." These special menus promise an exquisite dining experience that celebrates the flavors and aesthetics of the season.

The Hanashobu Gozen Experience



Designed as a luxurious weekday lunch option, the Hanashobu Gozen is available only on weekdays for ¥6,000 (tax and service charge included). This delightful set meal allows you to savor a well-curated selection of sushi, tempura, and teppanyaki in a single serving, harmonizing flavors that capture the spirit of early summer.

The Hanashobu Gozen menu features:
  • - Small Dishes: Grilled chicken seasoned with salt koji on a salad base, chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) with yam puree, and grilled saltwater fish served with miso are just the beginning.
  • - Main Courses: Enjoy a succulent Japanese beef steak accompanied by seasonal grilled vegetables.
  • - Tempura: A delightful assortment including shrimp, asparagus, and young corn.
  • - Sushi: Hand-formed nigiri featuring tuna, sea bream, yellowtail, shrimp, and squid.

For dinner, guests can opt for the Hanashobu Kaiseki priced at ¥12,000 (tax and service charge included). This multi-course dining experience is crafted to showcase elegant seasonal ingredients, with a focus on flavor, presentation, and tradition.

The Hanashobu Kaiseki includes:
  • - Appetizers: A selection of delicacies including simmered baby conch, burdock root with sesame vinegar, and other seasonal specialties.
  • - Sashimi: A highlight with Katsuo (skipjack tuna) from Makurazaki, served with spring onions and ponzu.
  • - Grilled Dish: Salt-grilled fish alongside miso eggplant and snap peas.
  • - Main Meat Dish: Japanese wagyu sirloin steak with a red wine and fond de veau sauce.
  • - Tempura Platter: Featuring similar delights as in the gozen, alongside sushi or chirashi sushi (scattered sushi).
