Myojo Foods Co., Ltd., under the leadership of President Akihiro Toyodome, has officially announced price adjustments for its instant noodles, cup noodles, and cup soups. These changes will take effect starting June 1, 2026, for shipments.
The decision to raise prices comes in response to substantial increases in material costs, packaging supplies, and ongoing rises in logistics and labor expenses. Myojo Foods has made continuous efforts to enhance efficiency across the company, striving to mitigate costs wherever possible. However, the current economic conditions have hindered our ability to fully absorb these rising expenses solely through corporate adjustments.
As a result, we find ourselves in the unfortunate position of raising product prices. These adjustments vary between 6% to 10% for suggested retail prices and 9% to 12% for open price products. This change will impact a wide range of our offerings, and we wish to highlight some of the primary products included in this price adjustment:
