Huawei Launches Enhanced Stellar Intelligent Fabric Platform at HNS 2026 in Europe

Huawei Unveils Stellar Intelligent Fabric at HNS 2026

The Huawei Network Summit 2026 (HNS 2026), held in Florence, Italy, featured industry leaders uniting around a roundtable discussion titled “Built on Resilience, Shaped by Intelligence: Building the Next Generation of Open Data Centers in Europe.” During this pivotal event, Huawei presented its newly upgraded platform, Stellar Intelligent Fabric, tailored specifically for the European market.

The Stellar Intelligent Fabric platform is designed to provide enhanced intelligence, performance, and reliability. This solution empowers enterprises to establish exceptionally resilient and highly efficient open data center networks for the next generation. According to Bingyu Zhou, Vice Director of Huawei's European ICT Marketing Solution Sales Department, the adoption of intelligent technologies in the upcoming decade will reshape the global industry, positioning it as a strategic opportunity for Europe. With hyperscale capabilities, high throughput, automated maintenance and operations, modular architecture, and low energy consumption, Huawei’s data center networks are set to support Europe’s sustainability strategy and the ongoing digital transformation of industries.

During the summit, Johnny Cheng, Vice President of the Data Center Network Division at Huawei, highlighted the exponential growth in both the scale and complexity of data centers that challenges operational efficiency and availability. To tackle these challenges, Huawei introduced the Stellar Intelligent Ultra-Resilient Fabric solution. Leveraging technologies like StarryWing Digital Map 2.0 and Rock-Solid Architecture 2.0, this innovative system constructs an intelligent, open network structure that eliminates single points of failure, safeguarding critical workloads.

Mesut ÖZCA, the Solutions Manager at KoçSistem, shared insights from their partnership with Huawei aimed at modernizing their data center's resilience. He noted that utilizing the StarryWing Digital Map technology enabled the deployment of a topology connecting multiple data centers, providing self-healing network features across them, ensuring continuous online computing services even during local hardware failures.

Furthermore, Aldo Artigiani, Technical Director of the Connection Working Group at OEHI, emphasized that artificial intelligence is accelerating the emergence of a smart world, which fundamentally relies on robust artificial intelligence infrastructure. According to him, international organizations like ITU-T and OEHI have established Ethernet standards for AI and high-performance computing (HPC) that lead to improved performance and optimized total cost of ownership (TCO).

Artigiani urged the industry to embrace open Ethernet standards and collaborate to foster further advancements. Looking ahead, Huawei plans to continue its commitment to open collaboration and technical innovation. By deepening partnerships across Europe, Huawei aims to evolve data center network architectures, support business transformations, and contribute to the healthy and sustainable growth of the digital economy.

The announcements and discussions at HNS 2026 reflect Huawei’s determination to play a pivotal role in driving the digital transformation within Europe through innovation and collaboration, thereby shaping the future of open data centers.
