PicTrée Partners with "Wednesday How's That" for Exciting Events!



Digital Entertainment Asset, known for its innovative gamification approaches, is thrilled to announce a collaboration with the popular Japanese television show "Wednesday How's That." This partnership will unfold through an interactive game experience known as PicTrée, captivating fans with various exciting events and opportunities.

PicTrée is a unique community-centered game designed for players to work in teams to capture images of communication infrastructure like utility poles and manholes. This event aims to increase participation and enjoyment among fans of both the game and the TV show. From August 8, 2023, participants will have the chance to join the team-based event: “The Fun-Packed PicTrée Battle Series.”

Event Details


1. Team Competition: The Fun-Packed PicTrée Battle Series
Inspired by the show's popular segments, this event invites users to join one of two teams: the “Majin Corps” led by director Tadatoshi Fujimura, or the “Ureshi Corps” led by Masamichi Ureshino. The competition will run across Hokkaido starting August 8, where teams will compete to collect the most assets captured through PicTrée.

Participation: Users can sign up through a registration form until August 23, available at this link.
Rewards for Participants: Every participant will receive a limited-edition commemorative image. The top three asset capturers will win signed merchandise from both directors.

2. Special Event on September 9
On September 9, there will be a special in-person event titled “The PicTrée Battle Series in Obihiro.” This event will take place at the station in Obihiro, featuring both Fujimura and Ureshino participating alongside regular fans. Users who achieve a milestone of capturing 100 assets will receive an exclusive bonus from the directors, while the top capturers on the day will walk away with PicTrée goods.

3. Capture the Magical Utility Poles for a Chance to Win
Throughout Hokkaido, fans will be able to find special utility poles, known as “Wednesday How's That Poles,” set up for this event.
Deployment starts on August 8, with a total of 95 poles spread out across various settings to allow participants to collect images. Capture images of these unique poles for a chance to win a ticket to an online drinking party featuring the directors on November 21—don’t miss your chance!

4. Exclusive Limited Items
From August 8, as players capture assets, special collaboration items will be made available randomly through treasure chests. Collectibles include:
  • - Spicy Shrimp Chili for 500 Damage!
  • - Tent for Stamina Boost (restores 30 points).

In it, the two directors will explain the rules for the “Fun-Packed PicTrée Battle Series” and share more about the in-person event.
