Digital Entertainment Asset Partners with Takarush to Launch an Engaging Puzzle Solving Experience in PicTrée

Collaboration for Community Engagement: DEA and Takarush

Digital Entertainment Asset (DEA) has partnered with Takarush, a company specialized in real treasure hunting and puzzle-solving events, to enhance community engagement through their game, PicTrée. This partnership aims to integrate puzzle-solving elements into PicTrée, a participatory social contribution game launching in April 2024.

The Concept Behind PicTrée

Since its debut, PicTrée has garnered over 90,000 downloads, contributing to community development by assisting in efficient inspections of infrastructure, such as power and telecommunications facilities. By encouraging citizen participation, the game promotes not just infrastructure maintenance but also boosts local tourism and community engagement. The collaboration with Takarush, renowned for creating immersive treasure-hunting experiences, is expected to add a narrative depth and enjoyable intellectual challenge, ultimately improving user immersion and interaction.

Project Overview: Treasure Hunting Puzzle in Okinawa

Starting February 1, 2026, DEA and Takarush are launching “PicToLeisure in Okinawa” as part of the ongoing game “My Electric Pole Battle in Okinawa.” From March 7, players can capture images of electric poles around them. Doing so randomly reveals puzzle-solving items that can be used within the game. Participants will need to explore and deduce clues based on displayed puzzles to find the correct electric pole. Winners will be rewarded based on their ranking.

Event Details:
  • - Location: Okinawa
  • - Duration: March 7, 2026 – March 22, 2026
  • - Prizes Available: The top ten participants will receive cryptocurrency DEP, with significant rewards for the first three:
- 1st Place: DEP worth approximately ¥100,000
- 2nd Place: DEP worth approximately ¥30,000
- 3rd Place: DEP worth approximately ¥20,000
- And more for subsequent ranks.

Future Objectives

DEA and Takarush aim to extend this collaborative effort beyond a single event, utilizing their partnership to create an ongoing model for real-world treasure hunting that contributes to both community engagement and infrastructure inspection. They envision intertwining puzzle-solving games with exploration activities to develop new dimensions in entertainment.

Introducing PicTrée

PicTrée is a free mobile game allowing users to photograph infrastructure elements, such as electric poles and manholes. Teams compete to document and measure distances among these infrastructural assets, engaging in gamification while supporting infrastructure preservation and local tourism. This initiative has received considerable backing from stakeholders including infrastructure operators and local governments.
