The Westin Tokyo, a luxurious wellness hotel in Meguro, Tokyo, has proudly announced the renovation of its wedding chapel, a significant milestone as it marks the first update since the hotel’s inception. Set to unveil on September 1, 2025, this transformation promises an elevated experience for the countless couples who have celebrated their unions in its embrace over the last three decades.

The Westin Weddings brand has long embodied the ethos of "TIMELESS ROMANCE," creating enchanting narratives that transcend time and generations. The newly revitalized chapel draws inspiration from the grandeur of ancient Greek and Roman architecture, featuring a strong, linear design complemented by Renaissance-style embellishments. Enhancing the authentic wedding experience, the venue includes a classic European-style landau carriage and stunning Friesian horses, reminiscent of royal ceremonies.

As part of the renovation, the chapel maintains its classic details while evolving into a bright, modern space that minimizes noise, ensuring a serene atmosphere. New marble and walnut flooring have been installed, and the benches have received a specialized coating, all contributing to the creation of a dignified environment reminiscent of antiquity.

The white marble aisle leads to a majestic altar, which features a beautiful window overlooking the Westin Garden, adorned with evergreen trees. Sunlight streams into the chapel through the white onyx altar, creating a refreshing ambiance during the day and a magical atmosphere at dusk. Additionally, a new yellow onyx cross has been placed at the altar, symbolizing the chapel's thirty-year journey and connecting its past with the future.

With a spacious area of 88 square meters and a soaring ceiling height of 11 meters, the chapel comfortably accommodates up to 80 guests, ensuring that the bride is beautifully showcased from every angle.

To commemorate this exciting renovation, The Westin Tokyo will host special fairs every weekend in September. These events will feature a sampling of desserts and filet mignon dishes, along with opportunities for couples to experience the chapel and banquet hall firsthand.
