Netflix Series 'Anonymous Lovers'

On October 16, 2025, Netflix will launch 'Anonymous Lovers', a romantic comedy that stars renowned actors Shun Oguri and Han Hyo-joo, alongside Jin Akanishi and Yuri Nakamura. This captivating series explores the clumsy romances of adults, providing audiences with a heartfelt and pure comedic experience.

Central to the series' visual appeal is chocolatier Kawaji Satomi, who has been entrusted with chocolate supervision. Under her guidance, over 50 different types of chocolate were crafted, with her signature 'Rainbow Palette' being one of the highlights. During filming, an impressive total of approximately 10,000 chocolates was produced to ensure the authenticity of the actors' interactions with the delicacies. In addition to crafting the confections, Kawaji also trained the actors to handle the chocolate with natural ease and oversaw production on-site.

Kawaji collaborated closely with both the director and the art team to create visually stunning chocolates that would enhance the filming set. The art direction was skillfully handled by Lee Ha-jun, an Oscar-winning production designer renowned for his work on 'Parasite'.

"Sharing the world of real chocolate with the art team and actors in such a tense environment was a moment of reflection on my roots. I take pride in being able to convey the charm of chocolate to the world," says Kawaji.

Through her work on the production, Kawaji has rediscovered the profound depth of chocolate. To keep the series' chocolate theme alive, her store is now showcasing lines that reflect the tastes found within the show, including flavors like 'Yuzu' and 'Bitter 70% Chocolate'.
