Luca Mining Unveils Significant High-Grade Gold Intercepts at Reforma Site

Luca Mining Corp. has recently announced some pioneering results from its exploration at the Reforma deposit. The data extracted from these drilling activities has shown considerable potential for high-grade gold and silver, giving miners a reason for optimism regarding the mineral resource expansion in Guerrero State, Mexico. This follows a successful drilling program aimed at enhancing existing resources and exploring new opportunities within the region.

Overview of Results

Of particular note is the surface drillhole CMRF-25-10, which revealed an impressive 13 meters of mineralization averaging 11.4 grams per tonne (g/t) gold equivalent (AuEq). This includes remarkable segments, such as 3.7 meters at 21.3 g/t AuEq, showcasing significant concentrations of not only gold but also silver, copper, zinc, and lead. Additionally, another surface drillhole, CMRF-25-11, intercepted 24.6 meters grading 6.0 g/t AuEq, including a substantial 11.6 meters at 8.6 g/t AuEq.

The underground drilling also yielded favorable returns, such as drillhole CMUG-25-023, which revealed 2.6 meters of 1.84 g/t gold and 103.76 g/t silver.

Continuing Exploration Efforts

Luca has decided to expand its drilling operations significantly, increasing the surface drill program at Campo Morado by 120%, now totaling 5,500 meters for 2025. The underground program has also been increased by 50%, totaling 7,500 meters. The aim is to both confirm and further delineate the existing mineral resources at Reforma and nearby El Rey deposits.

The initiative comes at a pivotal time, as the drilling envelopes regions that previously had no drilling activity. Luca has identified 38 priority targets based on a historical exploration database to ensure thorough evaluations of these areas.

Methodology and Quality Control

All drilling results underwent rigorous testing, with analyses performed by Bureau Veritas in Durango, Mexico. A sophisticated quality control system was implemented, utilizing core splits, standards, and duplicates to ensure data reliability.

With 16 surface drill holes completed thus far in the Reforma deposit and additional efforts ongoing at El Rey, Luca aims to solidify its findings with robust metallurgical test work. This aims to optimize precious metal recovery methods and ensure a comprehensive understanding of the deposit's capabilities.

Future Outlook

According to Paul D. Gray, Luca’s VP of Exploration, the drilling results reinforce the company's strategic approach to mining at its sites. As confidence grows in the Reforma deposit's wealth, Luca Mining Corporation appears to be on the brink of both rediscovery and potential lucrative expansion, benefiting from longstanding demand for gold and silver.

The results underscore a transformative period for Luca Mining as it seeks to unlock its full potential in a highly competitive market. The company remains optimistic about its prospects as it delves into additional high-grade zones and continues exploring the expansive Campo Morado property.

In conclusion, the promising findings from Reforma signify not just a moment of success for Luca Mining Corp. but also a potential shift in the dynamics of regional mining activities. With dedicated efforts continuing, the company is positioned for an exciting future as it strives to broaden its resource base and optimize its operational strategies.
