Discover the Thrills at Shimokita Robo Fest 2025
Nishio Rent All Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Nishio Holdings based in Osaka, is proudly participating as a special sponsor for the upcoming
Shimokita Robo Fest 2025. This exciting event will take place in Shimokitazawa on
November 22 and 23. It promises a unique blend of hands-on experiences for kids and adults alike, emphasizing the joy of interaction with technology.
What is Shimokita Robo Fest?
The
Shimokita Robo Fest 2025 is a dynamic STEAM event held at the Shimokita Railway Street vacant lot, where participants can explore robotic contests, hands-on robot creation, robotics games, and witness 3D printer demonstrations. After its successful debut in 2024, this will be the festival's second iteration. The event is organized by the Shimokita Shopping Street Promotion Association, with collaborative efforts from the general incorporated association CO-SAKU Dani, which operates the
Shimokita FAB Workshop in Setagaya, Tokyo. By engaging various local stakeholders, including community groups, businesses, and student organizations, the festival aims to deliver enticing technology and creativity experiences to participants of all ages and backgrounds.
STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Recently, it has evolved to include
Robotics, often referred to as STREAM, heightening the spotlight on robotics' potential.
Our Involvement
As a supporting sponsor, Nishio Rent All will not only provide rental equipment but will also allow festival-goers to experience riding on modern construction machinery as part of the event. This hands-on experience offers attendees the chance to sit in the driver's seat of next-generation
electric construction equipment for memorable photos!
Future Construction Experience
Capture the moment in an electric construction vehicle! Participants can have their photos taken in an environmentally friendly electric excavator, feeling like a real operator. This exciting snapshot opportunity is fun for individuals of all ages, effectively allowing everyone to experience the future of construction technology. (Please note: participants will only be seated and cannot operate the machinery.) The event is free to attend, and sessions run throughout the day from 10:00 AM to 3:50 PM. Be prepared for some wait times during peak hours and keep an eye on the weather as the event faces cancellation in case of heavy rain.
Additionally, Nishio Rent All has contributed to constructing the competition field for the main event, the
CO-SAKU Robo Contest.
