Vantage Foundation Partners with Blue Dragon Children's Foundation

In an important initiative to safeguard children and address the devastating issue of human trafficking, Vantage Foundation has formed a partnership with Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation in Vietnam. This collaboration aims to rescue children from exploitation and offer them a pathway towards safety and education.

Blue Dragon is recognized for its holistic approach that not only focuses on rescuing children but also on providing long-term support and preventative measures against trafficking through education and advocacy. Many of the vulnerable youths affected by these issues come from rural areas, seeking employment in cities where the risk of falling victim to traffickers is significantly heightened due to false promises of better opportunities.

To combat these dangers, Blue Dragon actively collaborates with schools and local communities to keep children in education, promoting awareness about the risks of trafficking and empowering families to protect their children. According to Michael Brosowski, founder of Blue Dragon, “Traffickers exploit hope. When families are informed, that hope turns into strength, not weakness.”

During a recent visit to the Blue Dragon center in Hanoi, volunteers from Vantage Foundation engaged with the children and staff, helping prepare and share meals. These acts not only provided nourishment but also fostered joy and connection among the children. Steven Xie, CEO of Vantage Foundation, emphasized, “These moments remind us that healing often starts with something as simple as a shared meal and a kind word.”

In addition to its rescue efforts, Blue Dragon provides free education to homeless and underprivileged children, enabling them to catch up academically and reintegrate into formal schooling.
