Envision Energy's TG Pro Wind Turbine Receives Key DNV Certification Driving Future Innovation
Envision Energy's Advancement in Wind Technology
Envision Energy, recognized globally for its pioneering green technology initiatives, has made a significant leap forward with the receipt of Type Certification from DNV for its TG Pro wind turbine model (EN-206/8.35 60 Hz). This certification marks a collaborative success between Envision and DNV, illustrating the turbine's technical maturity and readiness for the market.
The formal announcement was made at the WindEnergy Hamburg 2026 conference, where DNV's Vice President of Renewables Certification, Mette Redanz, officially presented the certification to Envision's Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer, Yimin Lou. The event highlighted the critical role independent certifications play in advancing innovative technologies within the wind energy sector.
Since its introduction in 2024, the TG Pro turbine has garnered several orders both in China and internationally. It underwent extensive validation, encompassing both prototype testing and commercial assessments. Built upon Envision's TG Pro platform, the turbine features a cutting-edge design combined with advanced aerodynamic features and smart control technologies, all aimed to enhance energy production efficiency across various wind conditions.
The TG Pro turbine is engineered for enhanced durability with strengthened components and specific engineering solutions designed to thrive in rigorous operational settings. The comprehensive validation covered a wide spectrum from component testing to digital simulations and multi-site prototype deployments, ensuring solid performance and reliability.
Yimin Lou remarked, "Our continuous improvement of next-generation turbine systems is founded on extensive validation and practical deployment. The DNV certification of TG Pro notably illustrates the platform's evolution and positions it to deliver unparalleled value to our global clientele. As renewable energy systems progress, Envision is committed to enhancing intelligent and effective turbine technologies for the future energy landscape."
Mette Redanz added, "Independent certification is crucial for fostering trust in wind turbine technologies, enabling manufacturers, developers, and stakeholders alike to gauge the performance and reliability of new turbine solutions. We are proud to have certified the TG Pro turbine, supporting Envision's innovative ambitions."
In addition to the TG Pro, Envision is showcasing a broader range of its wind turbine offerings at the WindEnergy Hamburg 2026 event. Notably, the EN-156/5.0 MW platform has achieved a Provisional Type Certificate from Bureau Veritas within a swift timeframe of five months. This certification affirms the design and functionality of the platform as it gears up for widespread market deployment.
Particularly developed for the Asia-Pacific region, the EN-156/5.0 MW turbine is set to be deployed at the Manar Wind Power Project in Sri Lanka—marking Envision's inaugural utility-scale wind turbine installation in the nation. With a hub height of 110 meters and strengthened corrosion-resistant specifications, this turbine is designed for coastal areas prone to high humidity and salinity levels. The combined strength of international certification and actual project implementation underscores the platform's adaptability and reliability in various environmental settings.
These notable certification achievements underscore Envision's ongoing commitment to excellence in engineering, independent assessments, and product development tailored to market needs. By collaborating with leading global certification entities and engaging with diverse market players, Envision is at the forefront of developing wind turbine technologies that effectively balance performance, reliability, and adaptability for the evolving global energy landscape.
