Impact100 Orange County Makes Significant Impact with $100,000 Grant
In a remarkable announcement made on November 12, 2025, Impact100 Orange County, a philanthropic organization driven by women, allocated a generous $100,000 grant to Healing at the Well. This funding is aimed at expanding the nonprofit's programs that assist widows and children dealing with grief from profound loss. This year, Impact100 OC has set a new giving record by raising over $108,000 through contributions from its members.
The ethos behind Impact100 is a simple yet powerful concept: when women unite their resources, they can effect monumental change within their communities. Each member contributes $1,000 annually, pooling their donations to create a transformative grant that can elevate and strengthen local nonprofit initiatives. This funding model has proven crucial, especially for nonprofits that often operate under challenging financial conditions.
Healing at the Well, established by Amy D'Arcy and Nicole Thomas after their personal experiences with loss, offers grief coaching, counseling, and community support specifically for women and children in Orange County. "This grant is a pivotal moment for us, transforming our journey from individual stories of grief into a broader movement of hope and healing," remarked the organization in response to the award. With the new funding, Healing at the Well anticipates being able to provide assistance to an additional 75 to 100 families, fostering resilience and recovery during challenging times.
Kenzie Vath, President and Founder of Impact100 OC, expressed pride in Healing at the Well's mission, stating, "Their impact reaches beyond individual families, enhancing the overall strength of our community fabric." This sentiment encapsulates the heart of what Impact100 stands for - community empowerment through robust support systems.
The selection process for grant beneficiaries was rigorous. Impact100 OC reviewed over 100 applications, carried out detailed evaluations, and conducted site visits before voting on the final grant recipients. Along with Healing at the Well, two additional organizations, Serving People in Need (SPIN OC) and Find Your Anchor, were recognized with operational grants of $4,000 each. These grants were awarded for their significant contributions toward housing stability and mental health initiatives.
Impact100 OC has now distributed a total of $285,000 since its inception, with previous grants awarded including:
- - 2022: $38,000 to Breast Cancer Solutions
- - 2023: $65,000 to Giving Children Hope
- - 2024: $74,000 to Live Like Jojo
- - 2025: $100,000 to Healing at the Well
- - $4,000 to SPIN OC
- - $4,000 to Find Your Anchor.
The Annual Presentation event saw representatives from all previous grant recipients, symbolizing the enduring relationships that Impact100 OC fosters with its nonprofit partners. Each funded project strengthens community connections and bolsters the support given to those in need.
With each grant awarded and new members joining the cause, Impact100 Orange County continues to demonstrate the undeniable power of community-driven philanthropy—one woman, one donation, and one transformative impact at a time.
