About the Author
Daidai is known as a specialist in alleviating life’s burdens, having been born and raised in Nagano Prefecture in 1995, in a family where his mother battles bipolar disorder and his father and sister cope with schizophrenia. During her third year of junior high school, she herself was diagnosed with schizophrenia and underwent hospitalization. After her sister’s death in 2020, Daidai found the will to live and began inventing and implementing techniques to overcome her challenges. Today, she embodies recovery, managing four different jobs while passionately sharing her message about enjoyable ways to cope with mental health struggles through her social media platforms.
About the Supervisor
Shion Kabasawa, a psychiatrist and author born in 1965 in Sapporo City, graduated from Sapporo Medical University and spent three years studying at the University of Illinois in Chicago. He has established the Kabasawa Psychology Institute with a vision of preventing mental health issues through information dissemination. With over 600,000 followers on YouTube and numerous publications to his credit, he remains dedicated to educating and empowering individuals struggling with mental health challenges.
