Omni Bridgeway Strengthens Washington D.C. Office with New Appointments

Omni Bridgeway Expands U.S. Team with Strategic Hires

Omni Bridgeway, a leader in global legal finance and risk management, is pleased to announce the expansion of its U.S. team with the appointments of Claire-Naïla Damamme and William Vigen in its Washington, D.C. office. This strategic move aims to reinforce the organization's commitment to providing high-level expertise in complex international arbitration and antitrust litigation funding, which are crucial for effectively navigating the challenging legal landscape.

New Appointments: Exceptional Talent

Claire-Naïla Damamme comes to Omni Bridgeway with nearly ten years of international legal experience. In her role as an Investment Manager and Legal Counsel, she will oversee the International Arbitration initiatives within the U.S. This involves leading current projects related to international commercial and investor-State arbitration disputes, as well as management of enforcement actions within the United States judicial system. Claire-Naïla's impressive credentials include representing sovereign states and multinational corporations across various sectors, such as energy, telecommunications, and technology.

Prior to joining Omni Bridgeway, Claire-Naïla held senior positions at prestigious global law firms, including Winston & Strawn LLP and White & Case LLP. Additionally, she gained invaluable experience working with the International Court of Justice and the British Institute of International and Comparative Law. Her wealth of knowledge and experience positions her as a key player in driving investment strategies that resonate with the firm’s overarching goals.

On the other hand, William Vigen brings an extensive background of over 15 years in antitrust litigation and government investigations. His role will focus on steering the firm's antitrust initiatives, leveraging his considerable trial expertise to assess and manage investment opportunities in this domain. William started his career at Williams & Connolly, later serving as a trial attorney in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, where he was instrumental in litigating numerous high-profile criminal prosecutions and leading major investigations.

Before joining Omni Bridgeway, William was an antitrust partner at Venable, where he advised clients on complex and high-stakes antitrust matters and compliance strategies. His extensive network and understanding of litigation will bolster Omni Bridgeway's ability to provide comprehensive support on antitrust issues in legal finance.

Commitment to Excellence

The addition of Claire-Naïla and William to the Omni Bridgeway team reflects the organization's unwavering commitment to delivering expert litigation finance solutions. Matt Harrison, Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer for the U.S., expressed enthusiasm for the new appointments, stating, "We are thrilled to welcome these two arrivals to our U.S. team, whose expertise underscores our commitment to providing the highest-caliber litigation finance team. Claire-Naïla and William bring exceptional experience and insight that will strengthen our ability to source and evaluate investments both in the U.S. and globally."

With these strategic hires, Omni Bridgeway is well-positioned to enhance its value proposition to clients navigating the complexities of legal finance and risk management. The firm continues to lead the industry by integrating top legal talent into its operations, ensuring it remains at the forefront of providing innovative and effective solutions for its clients.

As Omni Bridgeway grows, it remains committed to its mission of helping clients unlock the value of their legal claims worldwide, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the realm of legal finance.
