Tokyo Handwork Project: New Products Launch Event
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government in collaboration with the Tokyo Small and Medium Enterprise Support Center has been actively involved in promoting and developing traditional crafts through the "Tokyo Handwork" Project since 2015. The initiative aims to create new traditional craft products that resonate with the demands of modern consumers while exploring new markets both domestically and internationally.
On May 20, 2024, we are excited to announce the launch event for new products developed through collaborative efforts between skilled artisans and innovative designers. This event is not only a showcase of these unique products but also includes the presentation of prestigious awards such as the Tokyo Governor's Award for the top three selections. It's a fantastic opportunity for attendees to appreciate the intricate craftsmanship and creativity embodied in each creation.
