Delta Community Credit Union Celebrates 20 Years of Scholarship Support for Atlanta Students

Delta Community Credit Union Honors 2025 Scholarship Recipients



Delta Community Credit Union, the largest credit union in Georgia, is excited to announce the winners of its 2025 Scholarship Awards. This initiative, now in its 20th year, recognizes exceptional academic performance and community involvement among students in the Atlanta metropolitan area.

In total, five students have been awarded scholarships of $5,000 each, which will assist them in covering tuition, books, housing, and various college expenses. This year, Delta Community received over 300 applications, illustrating the fierce competition and high caliber of candidates. The selected recipients for 2025 are:

  • - Asfa Kareem: A Georgia Tech sophomore majoring in business administration.
  • - Medha Krishna: A senior at Walton High School who plans to study neuroscience at Georgia Tech.
  • - Caleb Miller: A senior from Creekview High School, aiming to pursue entrepreneurship at Kennesaw State University.
  • - Jaden Newman: A senior at Holy Innocents' Episcopal School, aspiring to major in biochemistry or biology at The College of Wooster.
  • - Kyle Ssendagire: A Brookwood High School graduate, set to study chemistry and German at the University of Georgia, with a minor in Russian.
