Dr. Achyuta Samanta Awarded Honorary Citizenship and International Distinctions

On September 21, 2026, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, a prominent educator, social reformer, and the founder of the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), and Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), was conferred honorary citizenship by the town of Milișăuți in Romania.
