International Women's Forum Welcomes New Leadership
On December 3, 2024, the International Women's Forum (IWF), a prominent global organization uniting over 8,000 influential women leaders across 34 countries, announced the election of its new board officers and directors. This announcement was made during the IWF's notable 50th Anniversary Cornerstone Conference titled
Reaching New Heights, held recently in Hong Kong.
The IWF proudly introduced the newly elected members, including
Kimberly Cooper Jaqua from IWF Oregon as the Global Board President. Joining her are
Elisabeth Ourliac from IWF France, who was elected as Vice President, and
Rosel Moxey from IWF Bahamas, taking on the role of Chair of Audit and Finance.
In addition to these leadership positions, the forum announced the induction of six new board directors, which include:
- - Kathleen Anderson (IWF Northern California)
- - Ann Drake (IWF Chicago and Florida)
- - Betsy Fischer Martin (IWF Louisiana and DC)
- - Doris Meister (Women's Forum of New York)
- - Leslie Quinton (IWF Canada)
- - Funda Sivrikaya Şerifoğlu (IWF Turkey)
As the organization concludes its 50th anniversary celebrations, IWF Global CEO
Stephanie O'Keefe expressed excitement about the new leadership team that will continue the legacy of the previous board from 2022 to 2024. "The incoming board will be instrumental in fostering our mission to enhance women's leadership globally, aiming for a 50% increase in membership and an expansion into 50 countries over the next five years," O'Keefe stated.
President Kimberly Cooper Jaqua highlighted the organization’s vital role in supporting women leaders during challenging times. "I am honored to have this opportunity to collaborate with our global leadership team and fellow directors, who are as committed as I am to advancing the mission of IWF. Together, we will work towards providing both professional and personal support to our members, helping them achieve success and inspire future generations of women," she remarked.
With the addition of these nine new board members, the IWF Board now consists of 19 members. Continuing directors include a diverse group of leaders from across the globe, such as
Reem Abu Hassan (IWF Jordan),
Terry Axelrod (IWF Washington State),
Adriane Brown (IWF Washington State),
Irene Charnley (IWF South Africa), and several others representing various countries.
