Strengthening Management at Mori Mirai

Mori Mirai Co., Ltd., headquartered in Minato City, Tokyo, is committed to the mission of 'Sustainable Forests'. On April 28, the company welcomed two new executive officers and one external director as part of its strategy to strengthen its management team and operational capabilities.

New Management Structure

Previously, the management was led by Junpei Asano, the representative director, and Koji Torigata, an external director. In light of the company's aspirations for an IPO, there has been a shift towards enhancing the management and operational execution speed. This is where the new executive board comes into play, paving the way for a new management structure that will facilitate further growth.

Kyoko Yoshida, who has been integral to business operations until now, takes on the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO). With her new title as a director, she is expected to drive the company’s growth forward with renewed vigor.

Emi Yamakita has been appointed as the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). With a robust banking background, she is poised to leverage her expertise in financial strategies, fundraising, and governance enhancement.

Additionally, Hiroaki Yoshida joins as an external director from JP Investment Co., Ltd. With his substantial experience in venture capital and knowledge in environmental sectors, he is anticipated to provide valuable insights for increasing the company's long-term value.
