In the latest assessment, Sands China earned a place in the Top 1% in both the global and Chinese editions of the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) scores. The company was also honored with the designation of ‘Industry Mover’ for the second year running in the China edition, a title reserved for companies that exhibit notable improvement in their sustainability efforts.
The S&P Global yearbook is considered one of the foremost benchmarks for evaluating sustainability practices within the corporate sector. This year, nearly 1,800 companies from mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao were assessed, with only 193 making it to the prestigious handbook. Sands China is proud to be one of the 36 companies achieving a Top 1% ranking in the China edition, following the notable increase of its CSA score by over 6% compared to the previous year.

On a global scale, the yearbook evaluated over 9,200 companies, with Sands China distinguished among just 71 firms that managed to rank in the Top 1%. This recognition not only underscores Sands China’s reputation but also highlights its continuous progress in integrating sustainability across its operations.
