Akafuku Hosts Special Sales Event at Haneda Airport

Akafuku, a renowned Japanese confectionery company, will be hosting a special sales event at Haneda Airport from March 25 to April 6, 2026. This occasion marks the first time that their Sakura Dorayaki and Sen rice crackers will be made available at this bustling hub. Customers can find the event at two locations within Haneda Airport: the Second Floor Departure Lobby near C security checkpoint of Terminal 1, and the Marketplace Event Space at the bottom of the southern stairs of Terminal 2.

During the 13-day event, Akafuku will feature an array of traditional offerings, including their signature Akafuku Mochi sold in a convenient 12-piece pack, as well as both white and black rice cakes. These confections are perfect for travelers looking for a sweet treat or a thoughtful gift. The soft texture of the sweets, combined with various fillings, makes them an ideal companion for spring travels.

Unique Offerings for Spring

Also newly available will be the Sakura Dorayaki, a delicately flavored sweet that captures the essence of spring. Additionally, the event will showcase Sen, which are rice crackers made from puffy rice flavored with Ise soy sauce and baked without frying, a first-time offering at Haneda. These lightweight yet flavorful snacks are ideal for those on the go, ensuring that you can enjoy authentic Japanese flavors easily.

Moreover, the special sales will include seasonal products such as San Strawberry Mochi and San Chocolate Mochi, both sold in packs of five, along with the Toki no Yokan Sakura, available in packs of two. Each of these seasonal confections reflects the beauty and flavors of spring, adding a festive touch to every purchase.

As many travelers flock to Haneda during the spring break season, Akafuku aims to provide a memorable experience, allowing everyone to reminisce about the tastes of Ise through these delicious offerings. With a variety of options that are easy to carry, these confections will make excellent travel companions or delightful souvenirs.
