Associated Bank AI Academy: A Summer Program to Empower Youth

In an exciting initiative, Associated Banc-Corp has announced the launch of the AI Academy, a pioneering program dedicated to enhancing digital skills and financial literacy among the youth of Milwaukee. In collaboration with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee and Milky Way Tech Hub, this six-week educational program aims to equip young minds, particularly those in grades six through eight, with essential knowledge in artificial intelligence and financial literacy.

Innovative Curriculum

The AI Academy will be led by Terry L. Williams, Chief Information Officer at Associated Bank, kicking off this summer. The curriculum is specifically designed to offer critical life skills through hands-on learning experiences that address both financial literacy and entrepreneurship. Participants will dive into the world of artificial intelligence, with a focus on practical applications such as prompt engineering using platforms like ChatGPT and fundamental data science principles.

Each week, students will engage in different topics, building skills cumulatively to foster a well-rounded understanding of how AI is likely to influence their educational journeys and career paths.
