Nana's Green Tea Reintroduces Seasonal Autumn Eggplant Bowl with Homemade Miso

Nana's Green Tea Reintroduces the Seasonal Bowl

Nana's Green Tea, a renowned cafe brand under Nanaha Co., Ltd., is set to bring back its popular "Autumn Eggplant with Homemade Miso Bowl" starting from September 1, 2026. After the outstanding success of last year's seasonal offering, this dish returns with a fresh twist, perfect for the moon-viewing season.

This year's bowl features a carefully crafted homemade miso based on Maruya's Hatcho miso, paired perfectly with luscious autumn eggplant and a luxurious soft-boiled egg. The resulting dish combines sweet and savory elements, promising a delightful taste experience for all.

The Dish: A Flavorful Experience

The sweet-and-spicy miso sauce is handmade at each outlet, utilizing refined cooking sake to enhance the rich aroma of the miso beans. Combined with Nana's Green Tea’s unique double-ground chicken soboro, this dish delivers a robust flavor profile. The velvety texture of the eggplant beautifully mingles with the homemade miso, while the addition of the soft-boiled egg creates an even deeper and creamier taste. Fresh shiso leaves are added for a refreshing contrast.

An optional touch of seven spice powder from the renowned Shichimi of Kyoto's Nagabunya brings an exciting twist, allowing customers to adjust the flavor to their liking—ensuring that each bite remains enjoyable until the very end.
