Dive into Creativity at 'Otofude'
On March 28, 2026, a one-of-a-kind event known as 'Otofude' will take place at PLAY! PARK in Tachikawa, Japan. This exciting event combines the world of music and art, allowing children and families to express sound visually. Participants will use instruments and paint to create vibrant patterns on large sheets of paper, guided by professional musicians.
The Concept Behind 'Otofude'
'Otofude' translates to 'sound brush,' symbolizing the fusion of auditory and visual experiences. By utilizing the vibrations produced by various musical instruments such as taiko (Japanese drums), cymbals, drums, and violins, attendees will create artworks that illustrate the sounds they hear. This hands-on experience offers a delightful way to engage with music beyond just listening, encouraging creativity and self-expression.
