Discover CHANDON's Exciting New Ready-to-Serve Spritz Collection - A Refreshing Take on Cocktails

CHANDON Unveils New Collection of Ready-to-Serve Spritz Cocktails

In an exciting new development, CHANDON has introduced a collection of ready-to-serve Spritz cocktails that promises to elevate your beverage experience. Established in 1959, CHANDON has carved a niche for itself by creating exceptional sparkling wines across its vineyards around the world, including regions in Argentina, California, Brazil, Australia, and China. Known for its innovative approach, CHANDON continues to explore new ingredients, techniques, and terroirs to bring forth fresh offerings.

A New Approach to Spritz

The newly launched CHANDON Spritz collection showcases a trio of effervescent cocktails marked by diverse flavors and intensities. Consumers can enjoy the subtly bitter Orange Peel & Spices at 11.5% ABV, alongside the aromatic and citrusy Berries & Hibiscus and Lemon & Verbena cocktails, each containing 6% ABV. This collection signifies CHANDON's commitment to providing unique cocktail experiences directly to consumers.

A Collaborative Effort

The creation of the CHANDON Spritz collection was a collaborative venture involving three renowned experts in the field. Ana Paula Bartolucci, Chief Winemaker at CHANDON Argentina, joined forces with Pauline Lhote, Director of Enology and Vineyards at CHANDON California, and Inés de los Santos, a mixologist and owner of the globally recognized bar, Cochinchina. Their combined expertise resulted in this innovative range of cocktails, illustrating the intersection of winemaking and mixology.

Six Years of Craftsmanship

Over a rigorous timeline of six years, the team meticulously tested 179 recipes to develop the perfect concoctions that define this exciting lineup. The cocktails are crafted using must and sparkling wines sourced from Mendoza, an ideal altitude terroir that provides the necessary freshness, ripeness, and acidity. Emphasizing a fresh approach to mixology, the team explored natural flavors from fruits, herbs, and spices to inspire each recipe. The extraction process for botanical flavors includes organic lemons, oranges, raspberries, blackcurrants from Patagonia, and fragrant hibiscus.

Low Alcohol Innovations

What sets these creations apart is the development of low-alcohol variants without the use of de-alcoholization processes. Utilizing Muscat grapes harvested at the beginning of the season, they halted fermentation at 5.5% alcohol content, retaining a natural sweetness with 57g/L of residual sugar. These meticulously crafted blends yield Spritz cocktails with a delightful 6% ABV, positioning them as approachable refreshers suitable for various occasions.
