Saint Anthony Hospital Expands Mental Health Services for Chicago Community's Needs
Saint Anthony Hospital Enhances Behavioral Health Services
Saint Anthony Hospital, a community-focused institution established in 1897, is expanding its mental health services to better cater to residents of Chicago's West and Southwest Sides. This expansion is a crucial step in addressing the pressing need for accessible mental health resources. Starting April 14, 2026, the hospital will unveil outpatient services for adults, while simultaneously providing walk-in therapy appointments for children under 18 years old.
Dr. Romeen Lavani, Chief Medical Officer of Saint Anthony Hospital, emphasized the importance of this expansion, stating, "It has become too common for our community to suffer from mental health crises and have no way of finding a solution. We want to help, and this expansion is one of the many efforts Saint Anthony Hospital has made in 125 years of community service.
