Savor Seasonal Delights in Aichi, Gifu, and Mie

Starting November 4, 2023, 7-Eleven Japan is excited to unveil five new exclusive dishes crafted from locally sourced ingredients in the Aichi, Gifu, and Mie prefectures. This initiative is part of a national fair dubbed the "Delicious Food Championship," which aims to celebrate regional specialties while promoting local food culture across Japan.

Unique Offerings Inspired by Local Ingredients

The new menu highlights exquisite flavors derived from high-quality, regional ingredients. Enthusiasts of local cuisine will have the opportunity to indulge in selections such as:
  • - Charcoal Grilled Pork Rice Bowl: Made from Aichi-raised Mochi Pork, known for its unique chewy texture.
  • - Whipped Matcha Latte Pudding: A dessert crafted with matcha sourced from Nishio City, Aichi, paired with a delightful milk pudding.

These products emphasize the culinary excellence of the region and showcase the passion put into their creation by local producers.

Bringing Farms to the Table

From November 4 to November 17, the "Delicious Food Championship" will feature eleven distinctive regional fairs across Japan, each showcasing unique culinary creations. Among these, Aichi, Gifu, and Mie will highlight exceptional local ingredients. The theme of this campaign is "Regional Producer-Consumer Connection," ensuring that each dish not only satisfies but also supports local economies.

7-Eleven strives for a sustainable food system, engaging actively in "shisanka" (local production for local consumption) and tackles community issues. The initiative aims to help consumers connect with the stories behind their food, turning every meal into an opportunity to support local farmers and contribute to the community.

Celebrate Local Producers

This fair not only shifts the spotlight onto the incredible products of the area but also acts as a catalyst for local economic development. Participating producers contribute to developing high-quality food options that captivate the palate while promoting a sustainable community.
The menus are crafted with the utmost care, bringing attention to the artistry and skill of local Farmers. By choosing these dishes, patrons show their support for these hardworking individuals and bolster the local economy.
