To meet this need, C&R (Creek & River) Corporation is launching a series of free online seminars titled "Chris's Lunchtime English Conversation" starting February 3, 2026. These sessions are specifically designed for professionals in the creative field, offering a unique opportunity to enhance your English listening skills while enjoying your lunch break.

Every Tuesday features two distinct sessions: Listening Basics and Reading Comprehension, followed by Grammar and Pronunciation sessions on Wednesdays, and a special English for Creatives segment on Thursdays. Each seminar lasts between 15 and 30 minutes, proving that even a small time commitment can yield significant improvements.

Meeting Details


instructor: Chris Larimore, a seasoned English teacher with nearly 30 years of experience in Japan, is managing this series. His background includes a Bachelor's degree in English from Hendrix College in Arkansas and a Master's in English Literature from the University of Mississippi. Besides being an expert in language instruction, Chris actively engages with American football, craft beer, and Japanese culture.

This seminar series is completely free and is aimed at anyone in the creative industry interested in improving their business English or seeking to refine their English vocabulary. Spaces are limited to 30 participants per session, ensuring an interactive and engaging learning environment.
