As the New Year approaches, the Gracery Hotels in Tokyo—Ginza, Tamachi, Asakusa, and the Akihabara Washington Hotel—are preparing for a two-day special event from January 1 to January 2, 2026. This celebration is designed to express gratitude and provide guests with delightful experiences during the festive season.
Unique New Year Experience
New Year's is a significant occasion, marking the beginning of the year and offering a chance for renewal and reflection. Our team is committed to making your stay unforgettable. The event features an array of activities, including a lucky draw, distribution of "Fortune Coins," and a special gift of "Hatsuyume Makura-shi" paper for good dreams.
Guests will receive 5-yen coins, which have been purified at the Zeniarai Benten Shrine in Kamakura, known for its blessings of wealth and relationship prosperity. Our general manager and the respective station managers personally purified these coins, ensuring they carry positive energy for the New Year.
At the Gracery Asakusa, we will have a calligraphy experience, allowing guests of all ages to write their New Year’s resolutions. This adds a memorable aspect to the stay, beyond the comfortable accommodations.
If you're still considering your plans for the New Year, we strongly encourage you to book your stay at any of our Gracery locations or the Akihabara Washington Hotel. We promise to greet you with heartfelt hospitality, ensuring you kick off the New Year on a positive note.
