The new features are implemented in the recently developed "Solaie Air Tokiwadai" apartments, reflecting a commitment to enhancing resident convenience and safety.

The implementation includes Linough's advanced entrance solution called "Linough Gate," which is equipped with a facial recognition system. This feature allows residents to unlock the entrance simply by facing the camera, providing a seamless and high-tech experience. Alongside the Linough Gate, all 69 units of the development will also be fitted with the smart lock system "NinjaLockM," facilitating keyless entry from the main entrance to each apartment's front door.

Tobu Railway evaluated four key benefits of this innovative integration: enhanced convenience for tenants, improved security, increased property value, and operational efficiency in managing key systems. Residents have reported an easy and smooth transition to this tech-forward living style. The facial recognition feature has proven particularly beneficial for busy families who often juggle shopping bags and other items—making it a modern solution that matches the fast-paced lifestyle of many.

About "Linough Gate"

Linough Gate is a multifunctional entrance solution designed specifically for apartments. Not only does it boast a facial recognition function, but it also integrates touchless unlocking, remote access, and cloud-based intercom capabilities. This technology promotes safety and convenience, allowing for effortless access for residents. Impressiveously, 95.7% of residents surveyed stated that their daily lives have become more convenient thanks to this feature.

Installation of Linough Gate is straightforward as it requires no extensive renovations; it can be smoothly added to existing structures, provided there is nearby access to power outlets.

Introducing "NinjaLockM"

The NinjaLockM is a smart lock designed for residential use and is a collaborative effort between Linough and Miwa Lock Co., Ltd., a well-established manufacturer in the locking systems sector. This smart lock supports unlocking through smartphones, dedicated cards (including transport IC cards), and password access, allowing for comprehensive keyless management from move-in to vacate.

With its unique installation method that avoids damaging doors, NinjaLockM resolves common issues faced by conventional smart locks, such as slippage and falls.

Overview of the "Solaie Air Tokiwadai"

Located at 1-1, 2-chome, Tokiwadai, Itabashi-ku, Tokyo, the Solaie Air Tokiwadai complex consists of 69 rental units and two commercial spaces. Construction is set to conclude on February 7, 2025. Developed with the concept of catering to busy lifestyles, the property is conveniently located just one minute on foot from Tokiwadai Station and a mere nine minutes by train from Ikebukuro Station. Amenities such as convenience stores, drugstores, and a dedicated work lounge for residents further elevate the living experience.
