New Year Greetings 2026: Embracing Change and Growth Amid Challenges

New Year Greetings 2026

At the beginning of 2026, we extend our heartfelt greetings for the New Year. The previous year, 2025, was characterized by a high degree of uncertainty on the international stage and through the economic landscape. As we encountered challenges across all industries, the ability to adapt was critical. The integration of Generative AI into workplaces led to a significant transformation in work styles and the speed of organizational decision-making. Amidst these changes, questions surrounding the roles of humans, organizational structures, and building trust were brought to the forefront, prompting a reevaluation of the relationships between individuals and organizations.

In Japan, marking significant anniversaries such as the 100th year of the Showa era and the 80th anniversary of post-war recovery, the focus on human capital management has been particularly pronounced. The pressures on management layers have become more apparent, alongside a growing structural challenge regarding the lack of managerial talent. While flexible work styles have become commonplace, discrepancies in perceptions and communication difficulties among different generations and roles have also heightened. In this context, fostering personal connections through dialogue is emerging as an essential foundation for sustainable corporate growth.

Reflecting on our activities in 2025, we witnessed a broadening commitment to organizational transformation based on feedback. Our flagship 360-degree feedback tool, "CBASE 360°," garnered recognition at the 10th HR Technology Awards, winning the Excellence Award in Analytics Services. This accolade acknowledges our efforts to analyze feedback data as human resource information, subsequently paving the way for nurturing talent and improving organizational effectiveness. Additionally, we launched the official version of our "Talent Map," allowing companies to utilize the results from the 360-degree feedback across various human resource strategies, thereby optimizing talent allocation, development plans, and discovering the next generation of leaders.

Our initiatives also included the publication of the book "Understanding 360-Degree Evaluation through Manga" and hosting the "CBASE Summit 2025." These efforts aimed at disseminating practical knowledge on how to leverage feedback for personal behavior and organizational change. At the CBASE Summit 2025, we had esteemed partners such as Takiron C.I., Daihatsu Motor, and JFE Engineering present case studies showcasing successful implementation of 360-degree feedback. These instances underscored how feedback initiates change in relationships and behaviors, gradually transforming the organizational atmosphere, affirming the power of feedback in bridging connections between individuals and organizations.

Internally, we have been fostering a culture where every employee actively shapes their career paths through our "CCC (CBASE Career Choice)" system. We devised ways to enhance communication within a fully remote environment, thus maintaining a balance between autonomy and a sense of unity within our organization. While the broader society sees a return to physical office spaces, we continue to expand the possibilities of flexible working styles while nurturing meaningful connections among individuals.

As we step into 2026, our aim is to further reinforce support for individual growth and organizational decision-making through our 360-degree feedback services, enhancing sustainable competitiveness in society. In this era that challenges the relationship between individuals and organizations, we are committed to embedding "feedback" and "dialogue," thus ensuring that the resulting data can be strategically used for service development and business growth in the coming year.

CBASE remains dedicated to our mission: "Updating everyone and every organization through feedback and dialogue." We look forward to taking on challenges from all fronts in 2026, inviting you to join us in this collaborative journey.
