United Arrows Launches UA RECYCLE ACTION to Promote Sustainable Fashion and Waste Reduction

United Arrows' UA RECYCLE ACTION: A Step Towards Circular Fashion

United Arrows, under the leadership of CEO Yoshinori Matsuzaki, is taking a bold step in sustainability with their upcoming initiative, UA RECYCLE ACTION. Running from February 16 to March 1, 2026, this program encourages customers across the country to bring in their unwanted clothing for recycling and reuse. This effort is part of their broader sustainability campaign, SARROWS, aiming for a circular fashion system by 2030.

The UA RECYCLE ACTION is not just a one-time event but a regular initiative held every February and August. Last year’s August event saw 5,661 participants, resulting in a remarkable collection of 3,694.9 kg of clothing. This demonstrates a growing commitment from both the brand and its customers to reduce waste and promote sustainable practices.

Upon bringing in clothing, participants will be rewarded with a 1,000 yen recycling coupon that can be used in United Arrows stores or online. This token of appreciation fosters a culture of sustainability among consumers, encouraging them to participate actively.
