Before joining MS Transverse, McGrath held the role of Senior Vice President at AIG, where he spearheaded US Programs, managing a diverse portfolio that generated around $1 billion in annual gross written premium. Under his leadership, the company saw consistent growth and effective oversight of its portfolio, which included 30 different programs.

Leadership Responsibilities

McGrath will report directly to Ethan Allen, the Chief Program Officer at MS Transverse. In his new role, he will oversee all aspects of the Program Underwriting function, ensuring that underwriting execution aligns with MS Transverse's long-term goals. This includes reinforcing underwriting consistency, supervising the growth of programs, and providing high-level guidance to establish disciplined practices.
