IDB Group, El Salvador Government, and Agrisal Group Join Forces to Enhance Entrepreneurship at GET Forum

Elevating Entrepreneurship in Latin America: GET Forum 2025

The Inter-American Development Bank Group (IDB Group) has announced its 2025 edition of the Global Entrepreneurship and Technology Forum (GET Forum) which will take place from November 30 to December 2 in San Salvador, El Salvador. This vital event aims to foster entrepreneurship and venture capital in the region, creating an ecosystem that connects various stakeholders in the entrepreneurial landscape.

A Platform for Connection and Knowledge

The GET Forum is designed as a melting pot for global investors, ecosystem developers, tech leaders, government officials, and industry experts. Participants can expect to make invaluable connections, gain insights, and receive inspiration that could fuel their entrepreneurial journeys. According to César Buenadicha, the interim head of the IDB's Ecosystem Creation and Acceleration Division, "The GET Forum exemplifies the value IDB Group and its partners bring to the region by linking it with global opportunities and creating spaces for knowledge exchange. This aims to catalyze investment in innovative solutions to developmental challenges."

An Innovative Public-Private Partnership

For 2025, the GET Forum has embraced a public-private partnership model, collaborating with the Government of El Salvador and the Agrisal Group, along with over 30 additional sponsoring partners. This collaborative approach emphasizes the importance of both sectors in promoting entrepreneurship and increasing venture capital investment.

Core Themes of the Forum

The forum's discussions will revolve around three primary pillars:
1. Economic Opportunities through Talent Development: Focusing on nurturing local talent to ensure a vibrant workforce that meets global standards.
2. Investment and Venture Capital Promotion: Highlighting pathways for increased investments into innovative startups and projects in the region.
3. Policies Enabling Innovation and Growth: Addressing the regulatory framework necessary to support burgeoning entrepreneurial activities and technological advancements.

Daily Experience at the Forum

The GET Forum kicks off with an Innovation Village at Park Cuscatlán on November 30, offering visitors hands-on learning experiences where they can explore new technologies and engage with entrepreneurial success stories in an open classroom format. Following this, the main conference will unfold at the Hilton San Salvador from December 1 to 2, featuring plenary sessions, interactive panels, hands-on workshops, startup presentations, and ample networking opportunities.

A Global Lineup of Speakers

This year's GET Forum will showcase over 130 speakers from more than 25 countries, including globally recognized figures in innovation and entrepreneurship such as Andrés Bilbao, Eric Acher, and Siim Sikkut. Their diverse expertise will contribute to rich discussions and lessons shared throughout the event.

Bridging Sectors for Greater Impact

The overarching goal of the GET Forum is to build bridges across public and private sectors, linking Latin America and the Caribbean with the global market, and connecting entrepreneurs and investors for creating sustainable solutions. This synergy is expected to significantly affect the region's economic landscape by encouraging collaborative efforts driving innovation at scale.
