Farmers Insurance Appoints Ankur Chaturvedi as East Territory Regional President
Farmers Insurance has announced the appointment of Ankur Chaturvedi as the Regional President of the East Territory, effective March 10, 2025. This strategic move aims to bolster leadership within the agency's operational structure in this critical region. Chaturvedi joins Farmers with a wealth of experience in the financial services sector, including extensive expertise in property and casualty insurance, life insurance, and retail financial services.
In his new position, Chaturvedi will be responsible for providing operational and collaborative support to agency owners and district managers across the East Territory. His focus will be on strategic initiatives that foster the growth of larger, more robust agencies. Reporting to Ken Walton, the President of Distribution and Chief Revenue Officer for Farmers, Chaturvedi is expected to play a crucial role in steering the company’s growth strategies in the region.

Before transitioning to Farmers Insurance, Chaturvedi was the Vice President of Product Innovation and Strategic Initiatives at Ouro, formerly known as NetSpend. In this capacity, he led critical projects, including launching innovative product offerings. His prior experience includes serving as the Chief Operating Officer and Interim President at AAA Life Insurance, where he was instrumental in implementing strategic changes.
Chaturvedi's career in insurance began at Allstate, where he ascended through the ranks, ultimately leading the New York Region in Sales and Distribution. He holds an MBA with dual specializations in Finance and Marketing from the Faculty of Management Studies in India and has completed advanced coursework in Financial Accounting and Business Analytics at Harvard Business School. Currently residing in Queens, New York, Chaturvedi is poised to leverage his extensive background to enhance Farmers Insurance's presence and effectiveness in the East Territory.
