Introduction to null²ⁿ and Enhanced Travel Experience
In an exciting collaboration, JTB has partnered with Sustainable Pavilion 2025 and the non-profit organization Digital Nature to launch a new and immersive travel experience. Set to open on October 14, 2026, at Landmark Tower Yokohama, the permanent museum theater named
null²ⁿ (Null Null Nexus) aims to redefine travel value by merging cutting-edge art and technology with local tourism.
Background and Objectives
The groundwork for this initiative stems from the success of the signature pavilion
null² at the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025, which drew around 600,000 visitors. null² integrated innovative technology and artistic expression to create a unique experience. The permanent theater null²ⁿ seeks to continue this legacy, ensuring the immersive experience resonates long after the expo's closure.
Through this venture, JTB, which centers its mission around connection, creation, and interconnectivity, aims to cultivate new forms of interaction among people, communities, and experiences. This initiative aligns seamlessly with Sustainable Pavilion 2025's vision of local revitalization through digital means, paving the way for future travel experiences. By fostering emotions, insights, and connections born from the expo, Yokohama will become a hub for technological, artistic, and cultural travel experiences, projecting its value both domestically and internationally.
What is null²ⁿ?
null²ⁿ is a visionary museum theater conceptualized by media artist
Yoichi Ochiai. Located within Yokohama's iconic Landmark Tower, it represents an evolution of the null² pavilion's imaginative world. The venue boasts one of the world's largest LED theaters, promising an expanded immersive experience that transcends the original expo.
Visitors will interact with a
Mirrored Body®, a digital avatar of themselves, through a dedicated application. The experience aims to dissolve the boundaries between technology and humanity, allowing participants to feel like a part of the art itself within this extraordinary space that reflects the essence of Digital Nature.
Exclusive Travel Packages and Offerings
In conjunction with the launch of null²ⁿ, JTB will offer exclusive travel packages that include a stay in the
Yokohama Minato Mirai area, entry tickets to the theater, and attraction coupons for the Yokohama and Enoshima regions. Clients can enjoy guaranteed access to special performances, including the appearance of Ochiai's avatar and a specially designed smartphone ring that encapsulates the null²ⁿ experience.
This package encourages people to make the most of their visit by exploring the surrounding area before and after attending the theater, thereby promoting immersive stay experiences and new travel styles. JTB plans to extend this initiative by developing tailored offerings, including guided tours for international visitors and group travel plans, all centered around the null²ⁿ experience.
