Hitomile Group Expands into Sapporo with New Delivery Services Planned for 2026

Hitomile Group's Expansion Plans in Sapporo

Hitomile Group, formerly known as KakuYasu Group, based in Kita-ku, Tokyo, has recently announced its strategic decision to expand into the Sapporo area. This move aligns with the company’s medium-term management strategy, aimed at establishing delivery services for restaurants under its “Nandemo Sakeya KakuYasu” brand starting March 2026.

Background of the New Expansion

With the company philosophy centered on fulfilling even the smallest wishes of community residents, Hitomile Group focuses on fostering relationships with customers and enriching the daily lives of people in the communities it serves. Currently, the company operates a robust delivery model from over 250 distribution centers across the Tokyo metropolitan area, Kansai, and Kyushu, delivering alcoholic beverages to both restaurants and individual customers.

The “TRANSFORMATION PLAN 2028”, which was publicly released in May 2025, highlights the expansion into designated cities utilizing the company’s unique delivery network. This decision to set up a base in Sapporo—the largest consumer market in Hokkaido and home to major entertainment districts like Susukino—was heavily influenced by customer demand and the strategic direction of the company.

Hitomile aims to leverage its long-established “KakuYasu Model” and comprehensive support for the restaurant sector to gain further support from its clients and contribute to the development of the food business in Sapporo.

Details of the Upcoming Services

The key subsidiary of Hitomile Group, KakuYasu Co., will implement its established business model specifically for restaurants in Sapporo.

Dual Warehouse Openings

Two small-scale warehouses are set to open concurrently: “Susukino SS” and “Sapporo Odori SS”, facilitating delivery services to nearby restaurants in these bustling locales.

The operations will begin with a commitment to provide “365-day-a-year service, completely in-house logistics, no minimum order (delivery available from just one beer), and free delivery.” These initiatives will not only cater to restaurants but also aim to expand services for general consumers.

Future Outlook

While the impact of this initiative on current fiscal results is expected to be minimal, it is seen as a crucial implementation of the medium-term management plan. This expansion is anticipated to significantly enhance the corporate value of Hitomile Group while fostering support and cooperation from various stakeholders and communities.
