The anticipation is building as the Fair Play Menarini International Award gears up for its highly anticipated 29th edition. This annual event, renowned for honoring advocates of ethics, loyalty, and respect in sports, promises to dazzle audiences once again with a stellar lineup of international sports legends.

In collaboration with Sky TG24, the award’s coverage has been renewed for 2025, highlighting all key moments leading up to the awards ceremony. Starting with a gala dinner on Wednesday, July 2, the prestigious Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence will set the stage for a night of celebration. The following day, July 3, the awards ceremony will take place at the Teatro Romano de Fiesole, welcoming sports icons with a heartfelt reception from the public.

This year, the event will celebrate some of the world's most exceptional athletes, who will become ambassadors for the Fair Play Menarini International Award and commit to promoting the values of fair play and sportsmanship, both in sports and everyday life.

On June 11, during a press conference held at the Italian Olympic Committee headquarters (CONI) in Rome, the names of this year’s recipients will be revealed. Attendees can also look forward to touching stories of fair play from three young athletes, along with the presentation of the Fair Play Menarini “Young Athletes” award.

Another highlight will be the presentation of the Special Award Fiamme Gialle “Study and Sport” on June 26, which recognizes young athletes excelling not just in competitive sports but also in academics. This prestigious award, established in partnership with the Sports Group of the Guardia di Finanza and the Tuscany branch of CONI, will be delivered during a press conference at the Palazzo Guadagni Strozzi Sacrati, the seat of the Tuscany Region, in Florence.
