CenterCal Properties Expands The Village at Meridian with New National Retailers and Restaurants

CenterCal Properties Boosts Retail Scene in Meridian

In a significant move to bolster the shopping and dining experience in Meridian, Idaho, CenterCal Properties is expanding Phase II of The Village at Meridian. This expansion will introduce five national retailers and restaurants, making it a primary destination in the Treasure Valley for not just shopping, but community gathering as well.

Exciting New Additions

The highlights of this expansion include some highly anticipated stores:

  • - 7th Avenue: Known for its premium modular sofas, 7th Avenue introduces a contemporary aesthetic to functional design, setting up its first location in the state.
  • - Culinary Dropout: This upscale gastropub brings in a robust atmosphere with a focus on high-quality dining. Featuring a spacious 7,000-square-foot restaurant with two large covered patios, it is designed to entice food lovers and socializers alike.
  • - The Capital Grille: A renowned fine dining venue, The Capital Grille offers patrons a menu full of dry-aged steaks, fresh seafood, and a notable wine selection, all served in a sophisticated, relaxed environment.
  • - Williams Sonoma: This beloved store specializing in high-end kitchenware is opening a spacious 5,550-square-foot location within the new expansion, promising quality products for culinary enthusiasts.
  • - Pottery Barn: Set to join in 2027, Pottery Barn will provide shoppers with quality home décor that blends function and style.

The project encompasses six new buildings totaling nearly 80,000 square feet, with every square foot already leased. This reflects the strong demand that is driving the development, largely fueled by the continued economic growth of the greater Boise market.

A Hub for Community Engagement

Hugh Crawford, Vice President of Property Management at CenterCal, emphasized that The Village at Meridian serves as more than just a shopping center; he views it as a vital social hub for the community. The addition of brands like Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma further cements its reputation as the leading retail destination in the Treasure Valley.

“To have such in-demand brands joining our existing lineup, which includes Lululemon, Anthropologie, and others, affirms our position as the premier lifestyle center in this region,” Crawford stated.

The soft opening for the new expansion is planned for the weekend of October 9-11, featuring store openings and entertainment opportunities for attendees, with full completion expected by February 2027. This initiative is anticipated to draw both local residents and visitors alike, enhancing the appeal of Meridian as a vibrant community and shopping locale.
