Rural King Hosts Annual Paws in the Park Event

On January 24th, Rural King, a family-owned retailer known for its commitment to the rural lifestyle, will host its much-anticipated annual event, Paws in the Park. This year marks another opportunity for pet lovers to come together to celebrate their furry friends while making a significant contribution to local animal shelters across the nation. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at all participating Rural King locations.

To facilitate donations, each participating store will partner with a local animal shelter or rescue organization. Donation bins will be placed in stores, encouraging customers to purchase pet food, treats, toys, and other supplies on-site and contribute them directly to the donation bins. Following the event, partner shelters will retrieve the donated items from their local Rural King store, ensuring that all contributions benefit the community directly.

It's important to note that while every Rural King location will participate in this charitable endeavor, specific stores in Ohio will not permit pets inside the store due to state regulations. However, customers visiting those locations are still welcome to contribute by donating items at the donation bins outside the store.
