Healthcare Holding Schweiz AG, a leading service provider and distributor of medical devices in Switzerland, has successfully acquired Effectum CH-Rep AG, marking a significant move in its effort to expand its portfolio. This acquisition highlights the split of all services previously provided by Effectum Medical AG as a Swiss Representative (CH-REP).

As per the Swiss Medical Devices Ordinance (ODim SR 812.213), which has been in effect since May 26, 2021, medical device manufacturers outside of Switzerland must designate a Swiss Representative to distribute their products within the country. With this strategic acquisition, Healthcare Holding Schweiz further solidifies its position as a reliable partner for global medical technology manufacturers.
