This holiday season, the majestic 80-foot Sitka spruce, known as the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree, graces the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C. From Wrangell, Alaska through cities like Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Altoona, Iowa, the journey was marked by interactions with those who wrote heartfelt notes on the truck’s banner. Stops included the Dover Air Force Base and Joint Base Andrews, which revealed the tree's role in connecting not only nature but also people across the nation.
