Exciting Culinary Event for Kids and Parents at Cassolo!

Cooking Fun for Kids: A Special Culinary Event

Restaurant Cassolo, located in Toranomon, Tokyo, is set to host a unique cooking event aimed at parents and their elementary school children. This event celebrates the release of a new cookbook titled “Cooking Basics for Kids: Recipes You’ll Want to Make Again and Again.” It will be co-hosted by Ayaka Ushioda of Mogumogu Children’s Cooking School and Takahashi Shoten, the publisher from the C&R Group.

Event Overview

On July 5th, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, families will gather to learn the fundamentals of cooking in an enjoyable atmosphere.
Participants will engage in hands-on activities such as:
1. Observing Rice Cooking: Utilizing a glass pot, children will witness the process of cooking rice.
2. Hands-on Rice Cooking: Each participant will have the opportunity to cook rice using a pot.
3. Making Onigirazu: Using the cooked rice, families will create their own onigirazu—a type of sushi wrapped with seaweed and filled with various ingredients, which gained popularity through the manga “Cooking Papa.”
