Zoomlion Showcases Green Innovations and Smart Technologies at bauma 2025

Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd., recognized as a global leader in construction machinery, recently showcased its latest innovations at bauma 2025 in Munich. Under the theme "Greener Development, Brighter Future," Zoomlion’s exhibit highlighted over 60 flagship products from nine major categories, offering a first glimpse at intelligent and eco-friendly solutions tailored to the European market. The event, held from April 7 to 13, served as a platform for the company to sign multiple international contracts and cooperation agreements aimed at accelerating the transformation of the construction machinery industry towards a more digital, intelligent, and green future.

One of the standout attractions at the exhibition was the ZT72J-V, Europe's tallest telescopic aerial work platform, showcasing Zoomlion's leadership in high-end AWP development. Additionally, the company presented a range of earth-moving machines, many equipped with state-of-the-art technologies such as 5G remote control, AI panoramic monitoring, and energy recovery systems in electric drives. The R800-40 tower crane also generated significant interest due to its impressive load capacity, safety features, and efficiency, positioning it as the largest Chinese crane available in Europe.

Zoomlion’s commitment to innovation is evident in its showcase of six concrete machinery products, including a 70-meter pump truck designed with a topology-optimized boom and intelligent mixers featuring remote upgrades and smart diagnostics. Further emphasizing its technological advancements, Zoomlion also introduced comprehensive system solutions that integrate the industrial Internet, AI, big data, and new energy technologies. Their mining solutions combined intelligent equipment and digital technologies, such as unmanned trucks and remote control systems, enabling full automation in mining operations including excavating, transporting, and unloading materials.

On the opening day of the trade show, Zhan Chunxin, Chairman and CEO of Zoomlion, engaged with customers and institutional representatives, reinforcing the company's global development goals and dedication to improving service quality worldwide. This aligns seamlessly with Zoomlion's global industrial ecosystem strategy, which focuses on a holistic approach to digitization and localization to better meet market demands and reduce response times.

At bauma 2025, more than 20 products were showcased that are manufactured within Europe, directly addressing local market demands regarding performance, technology, standards, and design. Zoomlion's 72-ton and 62-ton folding cranes, assembled at their facility in Germany, conform to the EN12999 standard and have received CE certification. Furthermore, the R800-40 flat-top tower crane, produced in China and assembled in Europe, guarantees fast delivery and efficient service to its clients.

On March 31, Zoomlion laid the cornerstone for the second phase of its German factory project in Waldlaubersheim, further expanding its global industrial footprint. Earlier in February, the company inaugurated its AWP plant in Hungary, which enhances its international presence. Currently, Zoomlion operates with 11 research and development centers and 210 service centers, boasting sales channels across over 170 countries. Their expansive workforce of 6,300 employees ensures rapid international deliveries and robust growth.
