Vision Inc., based in Shinjuku, Tokyo, has unveiled a significant upgrade to its web camera rental service, VWS Cam, which is part of its VWS series offering aimed at businesses. This revamped service, leveraging a dedicated app, will officially launch on July 30, 2025.

The upgraded VWS Cam introduces cloud storage for recorded footage, eliminating the need for physical recording devices. This enhancement not only alleviates the risks of data loss due to theft or malfunction but also allows users to access video feeds from anywhere, as long as they have an internet connection.

With the dedicated VWS Cam app, users can enjoy real-time streaming and review recorded footage directly from their smartphones or tablets. The upgrade supports essential camera operations such as panning (horizontal movement), tilting (vertical movement), and zooming (magnifying specific areas). Furthermore, for the first time, these functions can also be performed on personal computers through a web browser interface.

VWS Cam is available for rental on a monthly or annual basis, allowing businesses to begin with a single unit. In cases where installation is required, Vision Inc. can arrange the necessary setup as part of the service. 3. VWS-MD-1

• - Type: High-durability indoor/outdoor model
